Hello Members!!!
Just a quick reminder of upcoming deadlines and events. The Finals will be here before we know it and we want to remind everyone to make sure you have fulfilled your responsibilities in order to attend. Please see the requirements page on this site.
The Parents Rodeo will be held right after the Jr. Rodeo performance on Saturday Jan 24th. Please encourage your parents to participate. Last year the profit from this rodeo made a huge difference in the awards fund. Parents can enter one or all events. There will be Coats breast collars awarded to the all around guy and girl. This is a super fun event for the kids as roles are reversed and they run the rodeo while parents compete. The Endres family is donating the BBQ brisket for the parents rodeo concessions. Thank you Endres family for all your help this year with the concessions and to all that have assisted and donated food all season long.
We will have jackets available for members to try on this weekend. Jackets are only awarded to members that have fulfilled their requirements and will be attending the Finals.
Sponsorship money needs to be turned in NO LATER than February 7th NO EXCEPTIONS. If you would like to turn them in ahead of time that would be helpful so that we can get an estimate on how many members are planning on attending the finals. The Blanket Lady (Patterson family) has kindly sponsored $100 towards the award fund along with The Gettin Place donating 10% of sales from each rodeo they have attended. Every little bit helps and is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
We are also holding the final Silent Auction on Saturday February 7th. Please bring one or two items for this auction. Not much money was collected on the first auction and we need all members to participate in order for this one to be a success!! Members this is part of your requirement to attend the Finals.
Last but not least please make arrangements with Michelle Endres in the concessions about working or donating items. This is another requirement for members and we would like to see some of the older members set a good example for the younger members by assisting in the arena (setting poles, barrels, etc...) or in the concessions.
Thank you to everyone that has contributed this season in and out of the arena and for the members/parents that have went above and beyond collecting sponsorships.
